Frequently asked questions
Is there any upfront investment to become a franchise partner?
No upfront investment is required for equipment. BGS Power EV Charge provides and installs all charging hardware at the partner’s location. Partners earn through an attractive monthly revenue-share model. Terms and conditions apply.
What space is needed to set up an EV charging hub?
A minimum of 2 existing parking slots is sufficient. The chargers are installed on any eligible premises — commercial buildings, parking lots, fuel stations, campuses, or institutional areas.
How long does installation and approval take?
Under Telangana’s TS-iPASS single-window clearance, regulatory approvals are fast-tracked within 15 days. Our technical team handles the complete installation process post-approval.
Who handles maintenance and technical support?
All maintenance is handled entirely by the BGS Power technical team. Partners also have access to a 24/7 helpdesk for any operational queries or issues.
What types of EVs are compatible with BGS chargers?
Our chargers support the full EV range — from two-wheelers and passenger cars to commercial vehicles. AC slow chargers are compatible with all passenger EVs, while DC fast chargers serve high-demand commercial and fleet use cases.
